× Intro to Shakespeare | 9th - 12th Grades

“All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players…”

Strip away the fear and discover the fun in unraveling the language and poetry of the world’s most famous playwright, William Shakespeare. Taught by Kevin Brown, who holds an MFA in Classical Acting from the Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University, this acting class will give students the tools to feel comfortable with the language of classical theatre. Through voice and speech work, text analysis, character studies, and exciting acting activities, students will find their own voice in classic Shakespeare scenes and monologues.

Class size is limited. No refunds. Students are expected to attend all classes. One week before classes begin, students will receive a welcome email detailing class specifics. *Full and partial need-based scholarships are available upon application and due no later than January, 22, 2018.
